UNPKFC จัดงานเฉลิมฉลองวันสตรีสากล อย่างยิ่งใหญ่ หนุนศักยภาพสตรี เพื่อการพัฒนาความเท่าเทียมระดับโลก
สภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ (UNPKFC) ร่วมกับ สมาคมสหประชาชาติแห่งหุบเขาโคเชลลา สาขาแคลิฟอร์เนีย สหรัฐอเมริกา (UNA-USA) และราชสมาคมเซนต์จอร์จ สาขาแคลิฟอร์เนีย สหรัฐอเมริกา (Royal Society of St. George, California Branch) จัดงาน วันสตรีสากล ประจำปี 2568 ณ สยามแฟนตาซี เอเชียทีค เดอะ ริเวอร์ ฟรอนต์ กรุงเทพมหานคร
เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองและยกย่องบทบาทสำคัญของผู้หญิงในการขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนแปลงในสังคมและเศรษฐกิจ งานในปีนี้จัดขึ้นภายใต้ธีม #AccelerateAction โดยเน้นการเร่งการดำเนินการเพื่อบรรลุความเท่าเทียมทางเพศและสร้างแรงบันดาลใจในการผลักดันการเปลี่ยนแปลงร่วมกันทั่วโลก แม้ว่าปกติแล้ววันสตรีสากลจะจัดขึ้นในวันที่ 8 มีนาคมของทุกปี แต่ในปีนี้การจัดงานถูกกำหนดให้ตรงกับวันที่ 9 มีนาคม เพื่อให้ผู้นำสตรีจากทั่วโลกสามารถเข้าร่วมงานได้พร้อมเพรียงกัน
ดร.อภินิตา ไชยชนะ ประธานคณะจัดงาน IWD2025 ได้กล่าวถึงงานวันสตรีสากลอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ โดยเน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการรวมตัวกันของสตรีจากหลากหลายชาติ เพื่อยกระดับความเท่าเทียมและสร้างโอกาสในการพัฒนาศักยภาพสตรีให้ก้าวไปสู่ระดับโลก พร้อมทั้งสนับสนุนพลังสตรีในทุกมิติ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นในด้านการศึกษา การทำงาน หรือการเข้าถึงโอกาสต่าง ๆ เพื่อให้สตรีมีศักยภาพและสามารถสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงในสังคมได้อย่างแท้จริง การรวมตัวครั้งนี้เป็นก้าวสำคัญในการส่งเสริมการพัฒนาความเท่าเทียมทางเพศและเสริมสร้างพลังให้กับสตรีทุกคนให้สามารถยืนหยัดและก้าวหน้าไปข้างหน้าอย่างมั่นคง
ทางคณะผู้จัดงาน IWD2025 ขอขอบคุณผู้สนับสนุนจากทุกภาคส่วน อาทิ Siam Fantasy, Phuket Nine Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., UNPKFC Global Group (UNGG) ,ยุวฑูตเพื่อสันติภาพ ,World Book of Records London , โรงเรียน ภ.ป.ร. ราชวิทยาลัย ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ (King’s College under the Royal Patronage ),สมาคมทหารผ่านศึกทุกชั้นสมรภูมิ และภาคีเครือข่ายพันธมิตร มากกว่า 1200 คน เต็มบริเวณพื้นที่ภายในงานและนอกงาน ซึ่งได้ร่วมสร้างอิมแพคและผลกระทบในด้านความเท่าเทียม เพื่อส่งเสริมสังคมที่ดีขึ้นและยั่งยืน พร้อมทั้งช่วยผลักดันการพัฒนาศักยภาพของทุกคนให้เติบโตขึ้นในทุกมิติ
งานในปีนี้ได้รับเกียรติพิเศษ จาก ดร.พิเชษฐ์ เชื้อเมืองพาน รองประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎร คนที่ 1 ที่มาเป็นแขกรับเชิญกิติมศักดิ์ และ นางสาวพิชชา เชื้อเมืองพาน ที่ปรึกษารองประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎร คนที่หนึ่ง (กิตติมศักดิ์) พร้อมคณะ รวมถึงตัวแทนจากองค์กรต่าง ๆ จากหลากหลายอาชีพ เช่น นักกฏหมายด้านสิทธิความเท่าเทียม จากสหประชาชาติ,นักเคลื่อนไหวด้านการศึกษาจากยูนิเซฟ, นักการเมืองที่มีบทบาททางด้านการศึกษา,นักรณรงค์ด้านสิทธิมนุษยชน,นักประชาสังคมสงเคราะห์, นางงาม,ศิลปิน,นักร้อง,นักแสดง,นักธุรกิจ,นักสิ่งแวดล้อม,นักเรียน,นักศึกษา,นักรณรงค์ด้านสิทธิสตรี ,นักทางการฑูตจากประเทศต่างๆ จากหลากหลายวงการ ทั้งในและต่างประเทศ มากกว่า 60 ประเทศ ที่ให้ความสนใจเข้าร่วมงานอย่างคับคั่ง
งานนี้ไม่เพียงแค่การเฉลิมฉลองบทบาทของผู้หญิงเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นการสะท้อนถึงความร่วมมือจากภาคีเครือข่ายพันธมิตรของสภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ ที่มุ่งเน้นการส่งเสริมสังคมที่เท่าเทียมและเป็นธรรม ทุกเพศ ทุกวัย ซึ่งได้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและแนวทางการพัฒนาสังคมร่วมกัน โดยเน้นการมีส่วนร่วมเพื่อเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนระดับโลก การรวมตัวกันในครั้งนี้จึงถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการสร้างความเข้าใจและความร่วมมือเพื่ออนาคตที่ดีกว่าในทุกมิติของสังคม
ในงานมีการจัดกิจกรรมสำคัญ อาทิ การกล่าวสุนทรพจน์ จากเจ้าหญิงเคเรน เคนเทล ประธานสมาคมสหประชาติ แห่งโคเชลลา แวลลี่ มลรัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย สหรัฐอเมริกา และประธานราชสมาคมเซนต์จอร์จ สาขาแคลิฟอร์เนีย สหรัฐอเมริกา รวมถึงช่วงการให้ความรู้ โดย วิทยากรหลัก Jennie Alexandra Williams นักกฎหมายจากสหราชอาณาจักร ประเทศอังกฤษ ที่ปรึกษาด้านความเท่าเทียมทางเพศและการรวมกลุ่มในภูมิภาคเอเชียแปซิฟิก นอกจากนี้ยังเคยดำรงตำแหน่ง ที่ปรึกษาของ สำนักงานสหประชาชาติว่าด้วยยาเสพติดและอาชญากรรม UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime) และที่ปรึกษาของโครงการพัฒนาแห่งสหประชาชาติ UNDP (United Nations Development Programe) ด้วย จากประสบการณ์เหล่านี้ เธอมีความเชี่ยวชาญในด้านการส่งเสริมความเท่าเทียมทางเพศและการรวมกลุ่มในภูมิภาคเอเชียแปซิฟิก และการทำงานร่วมกับองค์กรต่าง ๆ ของสหประชาชาติในการพัฒนานโยบายและโครงการที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการส่งเสริมความยุติธรรมและความเท่าเทียมในสังคม.
งานวันสตรีสากลประจำปี 2568 ได้รับความร่วมมือจากคณะกรรมการดำเนินงานIWD2025 และได้พิจารณาคัดเลือกและรับรองผลงานองค์กรดีเด่น 3 รางวัล และรางวัลสตรีผู้ทำคุณประโยชน์ต่อสังคม 10 สาขา จำนวน 27 รางวัล เพื่อรับโล่และใบประกาศเกียรติคุณรวมทั้งสิ้น 30 รางวัล
ในวาระพิเศษ Mr. Jasvir Singh Shinda, รองประธาน World Book of Records ยังได้เป็นผู้มอบใบแต่งตั้งอย่างเป็นทางการ แก่ ดร.อภินิตา ไชยชนะ โดยมีหน้าที่สำคัญในการตรวจสอบ คัดสรร และประเมินผลการบันทึกสถิติโลกที่สำคัญในด้านต่าง ๆ ซึ่งถือเป็นวาระสำคัญที่เสริมสร้างความเชื่อมั่นในการดำเนินงานของ World Book of Records ในประเทศไทย และส่งเสริมการบันทึกสถิติที่มีคุณค่าทางสังคมและเศรษฐกิจที่เกี่ยวข้องกับประเทศไทยในระดับโลก เพื่อเสริมสร้างความโปร่งใสและมาตรฐานในการบันทึกสถิติทั่วโลก ในโอกาสนี้
ในช่วงท้ายของงาน Ms.Papachsorn Meepa MD of Phuket9 Real Estate Development Co.,Ltd. และ Mr.Kirill Vyalykh CEO of Phuket9 Real Estate Development Co.,Ltd. มีการมอบรถวีลแชร์ จำขนวน 30 คัน ให้กับสภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ(UNPKFC) เพื่อดำเนินการส่งมอบให้กับกลุ่มผู้รักษาสันติภาพ, ผู้สูงอายุ, ชุมชนเปราะบาง และผู้ป่วยติดเตียง
UNPKFC Hosts a Grand Celebration for International Women’s Day, Empowering Women for Global Equality Development
The United Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC), in collaboration with the United Nations Association of the Coachella Valley, California Chapter (UNA-USA) and the Royal Society of St. George, California Branch, hosted the 2025 International Women’s Day (IWD2025) event at Siam Fantasy, Asiatique The Riverfront in Bangkok, Thailand.
The event aimed to celebrate and honor the crucial role of women in driving social and economic change. This year’s event was held under the theme #AccelerateAction, focusing on accelerating efforts to achieve gender equality and inspire global collaborative change. While International Women’s Day is traditionally celebrated on March 8th each year, this event was scheduled for March 9th to allow women leaders from around the world to join together.
Dr. Aphinita Chaichana, Chair of the IWD2025 Organizing Committee, emphasized the importance of uniting women from diverse nations to elevate equality and create opportunities for advancing women’s potential on a global scale. She highlighted the importance of supporting women in all areas, including education, employment, and access to opportunities, enabling them to create real societal change. This gathering marked a significant step in promoting gender equality and empowering women to stand strong and progress confidently.
The IWD2025 organizing committee extended its gratitude to all supporters, including Siam Fantasy, Phuket Nine Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., UNPKFC Global Group (UNGG), Youth Ambassadors for Peace, the World Book of Records London, King’s College under the Royal Patronage, the Veterans Association of All Military Fronts, and over 1,200 partners and stakeholders who contributed to the event, helping create a lasting impact in promoting equality and sustainable development.
This year’s event was honored by the presence of Dr. Pichet Chuamuangphan, First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, who attended as a special guest, along with Ms. Pitcha Chuamuangphan, Honorary Advisor to the First Deputy Speaker, and representatives from various sectors, including human rights lawyers from the United Nations, education activists from UNICEF, politicians involved in education, human rights advocates, social workers, beauty queens, artists, singers, actors, business leaders, environmentalists, students, gender equality campaigners, and diplomats from over 60 countries, all of whom gathered in large numbers to attend.
The event was not only a celebration of women’s roles but also a reflection of the collaboration from the UNPKFC’s partner network, focused on promoting a just and equitable society for all genders and ages. The event provided a platform for exchanging ideas and strategies for global sustainable development, making this gathering a significant step toward fostering understanding and cooperation for a better future in all dimensions of society.
Key activities included a speech by Ratu Muda Princess Karen Centrell, President of the United Nations Association of the Coachella Valley and Chairman of the Royal Society of St. George, California Branch, and a keynote address by Jennie Alexandra Williams, a UK-based lawyer and gender equality and inclusion consultant for the Asia-Pacific region. Ms. Williams, who has served as a consultant for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), shared her expertise on promoting gender equality and working with UN agencies to develop policies and projects that advance justice and equality in society.
The 2025 International Women’s Day event also recognized outstanding organizations, awarding 30 prestigious honors, including 3 Excellence Awards and 27 Social Impact Awards across 10 categories.
In a special ceremony, Mr. Jasvir Singh Shinda, Vice President of the World Book of Records, presented Dr. Aphinita Chaichana with an official appointment as an Adjudicator to oversee important world record validations in Thailand. This role will further enhance the credibility of the World Book of Records London in Thailand and promote the documentation of significant social and economic achievements related to Thailand on a global scale.
At the conclusion of the event, Ms. Papachsorn Meepa, MD of Phuket9 Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., and Mr. Kirill Vyalykh, CEO of Phuket9 Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., generously donated 30 wheelchairs to the UNPKFC, which will be distributed to peacekeepers, the elderly, vulnerable communities, and bedridden patients in need of assistance, ensuring no one is left behind.
